I grew up in South Africa, adventuring with my travel-bug-bitten camping family. I mostly blame my meandering parents for my wanderlust, and set out travelling through Africa after high school, trusty travel journal in hand.

After returning to Stellenbosch and completing a bachelor’s degree in Visual Art, I moved to Vietnam, attended school in California and now live next to the sea in South Africa.

I have an intrinsic belief that beauty heals and whispers to us of greater reality than our own. My work is inspired by a fascination and delight in nature, especially light. Painting has become a meditative practice of observation, a way to respond to the deepest invitation of rest and ease.
